LOA is Laura Zöschg’s solo project, in which she merges compositions and texts with improvisation to create very personal and intimate performances. In LOA, Laura finds a space that allows her to create instinctively and to let anything out - sounds, noises, words, thoughts, emotions, which can be beautiful, ugly, chaotic, slow, minimalistic, messy. She explores the relation between the voice and the piano, which are two equally important sources of sound and inspiration in this project. With care, she plants the seedlings of ideas all over familiar and unfamiliar places, and as they grow, she weaves their sproutings together into one efflorescence.

LOA’s debut EP includes a variety of sounds, melodies and texts that tell about intimidating experiences, important changes and until then unknown emotions Laura encountered during the past years of growing up and becoming an independent being. The memories and findings of those years have emerged from the depths of her mind through composing and improvising, and consequently sparked the necessity to express them through the music of LOA.
